Christine und ich haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Betten sind gut, das Hotel sauber. Allerdings stellen die tollen Fotos im Internet wie so oft nicht die Wirklichkeit vor Ort dar.

Unsere europäischen Inder oder indischen Europäer sahen jedenfalls klasse aus, oder?

Christine and I have slept well. The beds are good, the hotel clean. Unfortunately the pictures in the internet are better than the reality.

Heute war die eigentliche Hochzeit von Pavi und Hari. Anfangs hatte ich mit der Zeitverschiebung zu kämpfen. Mein Körper hat mich ständig daran erinnert, dass es jetzt gefälligst noch Nacht ist und nicht schon Vormittags. Später dann sahen die Brautleute wirklich deutlich schlapper aus als wir alle.

Heute wird das, was früher einmal zumindest bei den Bramahnen 7 Tage gedauert hat kompakt auf zwei Tage komprimiert. Eine Collage aus ein paar wenigen verschiedenen Ritualien (Functions) habe ich mal zusammengestellt.

Today was the real wedding of Pavi and Hari. Initially we had to deal with the time difference. My body permanently told me that it is still night time and not already morning. Later the couple was looking more tired than us all.

Today the celebration which had been lasting for 7 days in the past days will be celebrated compactly in 2 days. A collage of a few different functions you can see in the next pic.
